Collection 04
Armenian letterforms transformed into modern rings, necklaces and bracelets.
This collection explores the elegance of Armenian letterforms, using typography as shape, structure and visual rhythm.
A name has to flow, hold together, and still read when it is small.
These began with Armenian letterforms and names, and grew into rings, bracelets and pendants. The work is all in the balance — a name has to flow, hold together as an object, and still be readable once it is small enough to wear.
The pieces shown here were designed for Farhadian Gold, including the gold-and-leather cuffs and the pavé-set name pendants.
