This is where I test the ideas that would not survive a client brief. Science fiction, technology, film.
Steel does not forgive a soft curve. That turned out to be useful.
Working in steel changed how I draw. It does not forgive a soft curve the way gold does, so the sketches got more technical and I started making properly dimensioned drawings.
As a consultant for Vitaly in Toronto I designed contemporary pieces in stainless steel, including Proxy, Reset and Spark. The collection also includes the independent concept studies Mystery, Drone Ring, Sci-Fly and Neon.
Designed for Vitaly, Proxy draws on bionic movement and structural innovation. Its articulated form suggests flexibility while remaining precise and wearable.

Reset balances subtle detail with geometric simplicity. The clean stainless-steel form works on its own or stacked with other rings.

Spark is a bold statement ring shaped by industrial minimalism. Sculptural lines and a precise opening give the piece both strength and movement.
