Anna Cross

Collection 05
A family of cross pendants developed from hand-rendered studies through casting and stone-set final pieces for Farhadian Gold.
The cross is immediately recognisable. The design work lies in changing its character without losing the clarity of the symbol.
Each pendant began as a graphite study. I used proportion, negative space, polished surfaces and stone placement to move between architectural, ornamental and softer organic expressions.
The sketches solve the structure; the finished pieces reveal how light completes it.
The collection was developed for Farhadian Gold. My work covered the initial concepts and design development through to hand-off for modeling and production; casting, finishing and stone setting were completed through the workshop.
This page shows a selection from a much larger body of jewelry work.
